My Military Life in Review
For my 80th birthday, my children decided to make me a web page. I have lived all my life until now without one, and do not know what I will do with this one. But it makes them happy and may provide some historical information for other shipmates. So I present it to you.
I enlisted in the Navy in 1943, while I was still a senior in high school in Millburn, NJ. The Navy accepted me and gave me a deferrment until my graduation. You can see the rest of the story on my Navy Assignments page.
